About the Journal

Investigaciones Sobre Lectura (ISL) is published by EduVerso (University of Málaga), and was formerly published by the University of Málaga and the AECL (Spanish Association of Reading Comprehension, 2014–2021). Its first issue was published in 2014.

Since 2016, the journal has been indexed in leading national and international scientific directories and databases, which have expanded over the years: Clarivate Web of Science (ESCI), Elsevier Scopus SJR, FECYT Seal of Quality, DOAJ, Latindex, Dialnet, Sherpa/Romeo, ERIH PLUS, ISOC, e-Revist@s, MIAR, Ulrichs, Redined, Recolecta, Dulcinea, WorldCat, REDIB, Universia, ORCID, Polska Bibliografia Naukowa, among others.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: the use of AI to generate all or part of a submission, including figures or tables, without expert review is expressly prohibited. This also applies to translation.

As of January 2025, the revision or translation of articles into academic English must be carried out through ISL.

Acceptance certificates for articles are not issued.
